Helping children, teens, and adults to heal, grow, and create meaning in their lives is my passion.
Over the last 25 years, I am thankful to have worked in two careers that shape and inform the services I provide to my clients.
As a counselor in community mental health, I have had the honor of working with children, adolescents and their families, on issues ranging from grief and loss, divorce, anxiety, depression, anger, trauma, ADHD, mood disorders, addiction, suicidal ideation, and major life adjustments (e.g. college prep, leaving home, starting a career).
As a consultant and human resources professional, I have had the privilege of working with adults from all over the world including India, Japan, China, Mexico and many other countries. In these roles, I worked as a learning program designer, consultant, coach, career counselor, team leader, and as a leadership development program participant and facilitator.
I’m fortunate as these two careers have allowed me to develop a combination of leadership, coaching and psychotherapy experiences and skills spanning multiple fields of study. I enjoy striving to integrate best practices from each of these fields into the information and services I provide to my counseling clients.
