Hello, I’m Chris. I look forward to working with you.

Helping children, teens, and adults to heal, grow, and create meaning in their lives is my passion.

Over the last 25 years, I am thankful to have worked in two careers that shape and inform the services I provide to my clients.

As a counselor in community mental health, I have had the honor of working with children, adolescents and their families, on issues ranging from grief and loss, divorce, anxiety, depression, anger, trauma, ADHD, mood disorders, addiction, suicidal ideation, and major life adjustments (e.g. college prep, leaving home, starting a career).

As a consultant and human resources professional, I have had the privilege of working with adults from all over the world including India, Japan, China, Mexico and many other countries. In these roles, I worked as a learning program designer, consultant, coach, career counselor, team leader, and as a leadership development program participant and facilitator.

I’m fortunate as these two careers have allowed me to develop a combination of leadership, coaching and psychotherapy experiences and skills spanning multiple fields of study. I enjoy striving to integrate best practices from each of these fields into the information and services I provide to my counseling clients.

I understand that it can be challenging to find a counselor or therapist that “gets” you and that you can trust.

The relationship or therapeutic alliance formed between the client and counselor is important to maximize the benefits of the experience. Your search for a helping professional that you work well with is a worthwhile one. I invite you to learn more about my services and approach in order to make an informed decision about if we would be a good fit.

To help you with this search, I also offer a free phone consultation. During this phone consultation if my services seem like a good fit to us, we can schedule an initial appointment. The initial appointment is also free of charge.

And, as one of my commitments to my clients and the community, I’m able to provide referrals to other professionals in my network at any time to help ensure you’re receiving excellent care aimed at meeting your specific needs.
